The 4 Most Anticipated Luxury Hotels Opening in Los Cabos in 2026

Los Cabos keeps raising the bar for luxury travel. This year brings some of the most exciting hotel openings Baja California Sur has ever seen — from an ultra-exclusive Aman resort on the East Cape to the arrival of St. Regis above the cliffs of Quivira. Here are the four openings every traveler should have on their radar.

1. Amanvari (Costa Palmas, East Cape)

The legendary Aman brand arrives in Baja with just 18 freestanding casitas inside the Costa Palmas community. Expect a signature Aman Spa and dining that blends Italian, Japanese and regional Baja flavors. Opening is slated for early-to-mid 2026 — and it is already one of the most talked-about debuts in Mexico.

2. St. Regis Los Cabos at Quivira

Scheduled for summer 2026, the St. Regis brings 120 rooms and 60 branded residences to a spectacular perch above the Quivira golf course, overlooking the Pacific. The dining program is led by Michelin-starred chef Carlos Gaytán with three distinct restaurant concepts.

3. Grand Hyatt Los Cabos at Oleada

Projected for late 2026 inside the new Oleada development, this 300-room resort will be anchored by a links-style golf course designed by four-time major champion Ernie Els, with sweeping ocean views along the Pacific corridor.

4. Soho House Los Cabos

The members club everyone knows from London, New York and CDMX lands in Cabo del Sol in the second half of 2026 — an intimate hideaway with only 15 bedrooms across 12 “Casas” and three “Casonas”.

Why it matters

Every new flagship property brings new restaurants, new beach clubs and new reasons to visit. Whichever one you pick as your base, the adventure side of Los Cabos — snorkeling, sailing, whale watching and desert tours — is minutes away.
